Delivery & Returns

Ginger Ted currently dispatches to the UK, Europe, North America, Australasia and most countries worldwide. Please email us at  customerservice@gingerted.co.uk if your country location does not show at check-out. 

Ginger Ted aims to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt. If you order before 12pm (Noon) we will endeavour to send your order out the same day. However at peak times and in the case of personalised or special products (ie embroideries and harness slots) dispatch may take a little longer. 

 

UK, CHANNEL ISLANDS & ISLE OF MAN

FREE Delivery (2 to 3 working days) for all orders over £25.00
Standard Delivery £2.95 (2 to 3 working days) for all orders under £25.00
Express Delivery £12.95 (1 working day)

All orders are sent out by Royal Mail, Parcelforce (for orders over 2kg) or by Courier. If you select Express Delivery you may be asked for a signature upon delivery. For larger items you may need to collect them from a local Royal Mail sorting office or courier depot if no one is present when the item is first delivered.
We will delivery to all postcodes in the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Unfortunately we are not able to control the vagaries of postal or courier services and weather conditions, but would recommend that on average you allow up to 3 working days. If you choose Express Delivery, you will need to order by 11am and should receive your order the next working day. If Express delivery is selected on a Friday, delivery will be on the following Monday. 

 

EUROPE 

Standard Delivery (5 to 10 working days)  €15.00 or all orders under €60. €20.00 for orders between €60 and €120,  €25.00 for orders between €120 and €200. For orders over €200 please contact us. 

    Orders to following countries ONLY are sent from the UK by Royal Mail or by Courier on a DDP basis (Delivery & Duty Paid). This means you will not receive a customs payment demand when your parcel arrives in your country - Austria, Cyprus, France, Germany, Ireland, Malta, Netherlands & Portugal.

    All orders to other european countries (including Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain & Sweden) are sent from the UK by Royal Mail or by Courier on a DDU basis (Delivery, Duty Unpaid). This means you will be responsible for paying customs charges (import duty and tax) and possible processing fees by your local delivery company. 

     

    USA & CANADA

    Standard Delivery (5 to 10 working days) $20.00 or all orders under $75,  $30.00 for all orders between $75 and $150,  $40 for all orders between $150 and $250. For orders over $250 please contact us.

    All orders are sent from the UK by Royal Mail or by Courier on a DDU basis (Delivery, Duty Unpaid). This means you will be responsible for paying customs charges (import duty and tax) and possible processing fees by your local US delivery company. Unfortunately we are not able to control the vagaries of postal or courier services and weather conditions, but would recommend that on average you allow between 5 and 10 days for delivery.

     

    REST OF THE WORLD  (Including Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)

    Standard Delivery (5 to 10 working days) £17.50 or all orders under £50,  £25.00 for all orders between £50 and £100,  £35 for all orders between £100 and £200. For orders over £200 please contact us.

    Packaging

    Packaging will depend upon the actual item ordered. The majority of our items are packaged in re-cycled, re-usable bags and dispatched in re-cycled mailing bags or cardboard boxes. We endeavour to re-use as much packaging as possible so you may receive a box that has previously been used. All items shipped are brand new and in perfect condition.

    Split-Deliveries

    If your order is shipped in separate packages you will only pay a single delivery charge.

    No Fuss Returns & Exchanges

    If you wish to return a product for whatever reason we offer a No Fuss Extended Returns and Exchange Policy provided the item has not been worn and in a perfectly re-saleable condition with original packaging and labelling attached, and free from any dog hairs or smells, within 30 days of purchase. Please note that we do not offer returns or exchanges on Ginger Ted Dog Coats or items that have been embroidered with a name, message or a special make-up or altered products (ie added zips or bespoke harness slots).     After you receive delivery of an order from us, please take particular care with items which are easily damaged. If you need guidance on the best way to try any item without damaging it, please contact us. When trying on goods it should be reasonably apparent whether they are likely to fit or not and you should not stretch hook & loop straps, force zips, buckles or fastenings since this may damage the product and cause injury to you or your pet.

    Should you decide to return the goods please complete the returns documentation included with your original order or contact us by email at  customerservice@gingerted.co.uk within 30 days of the date of your order.  All return items should be sent to -

    If you do decide to return an item you are under a legal duty not to use the goods and to take care of them including all packaging and labelling. Please ensure that the item is free of dog hairs, smells and clean otherwise we reserve the right to resend it back to you.

    We recommend that you send your goods back by a recorded, tracked or  secure delivery method which requires a signature on arrival since we cannot be held responsible for the item being lost or damaged before it is received by us. You must return the goods to us securely packaged, in the condition in which they were received, at your cost, as soon as possible and in the original packaging. Please include the Returns Form or a written note including your name, address, e-mail address, order number, the reason for the return and your exchange/refund requirements. This enables us to identify your item, speeds up our returns process and prevents fraudulent returns.

    For exchanges please remember to notify us of the new item, including the colour and size. If there is a difference in price between the original and new item then we will contact you prior to processing the order and advise you of the additional cost. Please note that any applicable delivery costs will be applied to the new item.

    If an item is received damaged, faulty or in error, we will offer you a full refund. We will refund to your credit or debit card within 21 working days of receiving the goods, the sums paid by you in relation to them. All refunds are made by our secure on-line payment system. A credit will be made to the original credit or debit card used to make the original purchase. Please note only the original price paid for the item together with delivery charges will be refunded. Return postage charges will be refunded up to a maximum of £2.95 for UK addresses, €15.00 for Europe, $17.50 for North America and £17.50 for the Rest of the World. If the item is going to exceed this please contact us on customerservice@gingerted.co.uk as we may arrange a courier to collect from you.

    For sale, embroidered, added zips, bespoke harness slots, special make-ups and personalised items, we do not offer refunds or exchanges.

    If you do not return the goods within 21 days of your returns reference being issued we may choose to recover the goods from you and to charge you for the cost of doing so. If despite sending a returns reference you do not return the goods or fail to make them available for collection within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods at which point a new purchase contract will be made and if we have already granted a refund, you will be re-charged for your order at the current price set out on the Ginger Ted website.
