Delivery & Returns
For the time being Ginger Ted is only dispatching orders to the UK but will extend to most European and other worldwide destinations shortly. In the meantime please email firstname.lastname@example.org should you wish to receive an order outside of the UK.
Our standard post and packing costs are as follows –
FREE DELIVERY (3 to 5 working days) for all orders over £10.00 apart from the following UK postcodes ZE, HS, IV, GY, JE, IM and BFPO
STANDARD DELIVERY £1.95 (3 to 5 working days) for all orders under £10.00
(Except for the following postcodes ZE, HS, IV, GY, JE, IM and BFPO where the delivery charge is £2.95)
EXPRESS DELIVERY £9.95 (1 to 2 working days)
(Except for the following postcodes ZE, HS, IV, GY, JE, IM and BFPO where the delivery charge is £12.95)
All our goods are sent out by Royal Mail or by Courier. If you select Express Delivery you may be asked for a signature upon delivery. For larger items you may need to collect them from a local Royal Mail sorting office or courier depot if no one is present when the item is first delivered.
Whenever possible orders will be despatched within 24 hours of receipt. If you order before 12pm (Noon) we will endeavour to send your order out the same day.
We will delivery anywhere in the UK. Unfortunately we are not able to control the vagaries of postal or courier services, but would recommend that on average you allow up to 3 business days for UK orders. If you choose Express Delivery, you will need to order by 12pm and should receive your order the next day.
Non UK Deliveries
Ginger Ted currently only deliver to the UK but will shortly extend coverage to most European countries and the rest of the world. In the meantime please email email@example.com, should you wish to receive an order outside of the UK.
Packaging will depend upon the actual item ordered. The majority of our items are packaged in re-cycled plastic polybags and dispatched in re-cycled mailing bags or cardboard boxes. We endeavour to re-use as much packaging as possible so you may receive a box that has previously been used. All items shipped are brand new and in perfect condition.
If your order is shipped in separate packages you will only pay a single delivery charge.
No Fuss Returns & Exchanges
If you wish to return a product for whatever reason we offer a No Fuss returns and exchanges policy provided the item has not been worn and in a perfectly re-saleable condition with original packaging and labelling, within 14 days of purchase. Please note that we do not offer returns or exchanges on Ginger Ted Dog Coats that have been embroidered with a name or message. After you receive delivery of an order from us, please take particular care with items which are easily damaged. If you need guidance on the best way to try any item without damaging it, please contact us. When trying on goods it should be reasonably apparent whether they are likely to fit or not and you should not stretch goods or force zips or fastenings as this may damage the goods and cause injury to you or your pet.
Should you decide to return the goods you must notify us of the cancellation in writing by post to the address below, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days of receipt of the goods. You will be given a returns reference which should be used on all correspondence and postings.

Following cancellation you are under a legal duty not to use the goods and to take care of them including all packaging and labelling. Please ensure that the item is free of dog hair and clean otherwise we reserve the right to resend it back to you.
We recommend that you send your goods back by recorded delivery or a secure delivery method, which requires a signature on arrival as we cannot be held responsible for it being lost or damaged before it is received by us. You must return the goods to us securely packaged, in the condition in which they were received at your cost as soon as possible and in the original packaging. Please include with the goods a copy of your Ginger Ted invoice, the returns reference and a written note of your name, address, e-mail address, order number and the reason for the return. This enables us to identify the transaction, speeds up the process, and prevents fraudulent returns.
For exchanges please remember to notify us of the new item, including the colour and size. If there is a difference in price between the original and new item, then we will contact you prior to processing the order and advise you of the additional cost. Please note that our standard delivery costs will be applied to the new item.
If an item is received damaged, faulty or in error, we will offer you a full refund. We will refund to your credit or debit card within 21 working days of receiving the goods, the sums paid by you in relation to them. All refunds are made by our secure on-line payment system. A credit will be made to the original credit or debit card used to make the original purchase. Please note only the original price paid for the item together with delivery charges will be refunded. Return postage charges will be refunded up to a maximum of £2.95. If the item is going to exceed this please contact us on email@example.com as we may arrange a courier to collect from you.
For sale items we do not offer refunds or exchanges.
If you do not return the goods within 21 days of your returns reference being issued we may choose to recover the goods from you and to charge you for the cost of doing so. If despite sending a returns reference you do not return the goods or fail to make them available for collection within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods at which point a new purchase contract will be made and if we have already granted a refund, you will be re-charged for your order at the current price set out on the Ginger Ted website.
